Does the pin count as my account number on the back of a gift card? - wheres the 16 digit number on the hollister gift card

I have a Hollister gift card and wondered if the PIN was one of the 16 numbers when trying to see what the balance online. There are only 12 digits next to where it says: Account #. This is the PIN is locked (for what somthing for a room or reason required), a part of the ACCT #?
